About the Journal

Focus and Scope

CogITo Smart Journal is published by Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Universitas Klabat, Manado. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Computer science, information system, informatics, data mining, computer vision, software engineering, decision support system, networking, machine learning, robotics.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts undergo an anonymous peer review process conducted by reviewers appointed by the editor based on their expertise. Decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts, as well as all editorial activities, are managed through the Open Journal System (OJS), with notifications sent to authors via email. Authors are provided a two week period to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the recommendations and suggestions from the reviewers and the editor.

Gen Ai Policy

The use of content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in an article (including but not limited to text, figures, images, and code) shall be disclosed in the acknowledgments section of any article submitted to an Cogito Smart Journal publication. The AI system used shall be identified, and specific sections of the article that use AI-generated content shall be identified and accompanied by a brief explanation regarding the level at which the AI system was used to generate the content.

The use of AI systems for editing and grammar enhancement is common practice and, as such, is generally outside the intent of the above policy. In this case, disclosure as noted above is recommended.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Article Processing Charges and Publication Fees

All articles published in this journals are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. This journal doesn't charge the author for article submission, and peer review.
