UNIVERSITAS DALAM PERSPEKTIF GENERASI Z

Tata kelola Universitas telah memasuki era persaingan yang sengit, para pengelola universitas didorong untuk selalu berinovasi untuk menyediakan Pendidikan yang dapat menarik calon mahasiswa. Di era ini, generasi z merupakan calon mahasiswa yang dihadapi oleh pihak universitas. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi generasi z untuk memilih Unviersitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah Exploratory Factor Analaysis dengan teknik Principal Component Analysis. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 304 responden dari tiga Sekolah menengah umum yang berbeda. Depth-Invterview yang dilakukan menghasilkan 31 butir pertanyaan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan delapan faktor, yaitu Fasilitas, Teknologi, lingkungan belajar, metode pengajar, kebersihan, reputasi, kegiatan non akademis, dan iklim internasional. Fasilitas merupakan factor dengan kontribusi terbesar yang mempengaruhi generasi z dalam menentukan perguruan tinggi. Faktor dengan kotntribusi terbesar kedua adalah teknologi. Sesuai dengan karakter generasi z yang mafhum terhadap era digital, maka fasilitas berbasis teknologi menjadi keharusan bagi pihak universitas untuk diadakan agar dapat menjadi destinasi pendidikan bagi generasi zReferences
