Sistem Informasi Perencanaan Persediaan Obat Dengan Metode Periodic Review

Menjawab permintaan pasar yang dinamis, sebuah perusahaan perlu untuk menetapkan kebijakan persediaan dalam satu bulan kedepan berdasarkan perhitungan permintaan rata-rata bulanan yang lalu. Tetapi pada kenyataannya, permintaan yang tidak dapat dipenuhi akibat kekurangan stok, menyebabkan perusahaan kehilangan potensi penjualan sehingga mempengaruhi pendapatan penjualan. Karena itu, sistem persediaan yang dipakai saat ini bisa menjadi bahan pertimbangan untuk dievaluasi, dikarenakan ada beberapa metode lain yang dapat dijadikan alternatif agar sistem persediaan dapat lebih efektif dan efisien. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis metode persediaan yang mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi persediaan. Dalam penelitian ini, diujicobakan perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode Continuous Review dan Periodic Review, dimana hasil keluaran keduanya dibandingkan sebagai acuan pemakaian metode untuk diterapkan dalam sistem informasi perencanaan persediaan. Dengan memperhitungkan berbagai faktor, hasil dari perbandingan tersebut dijadikan basis perhitungan dan diterapkan dalam rancangan sistem informasi perencanaan persediaan.
