Perancangan Sistem Informasi Eksekutif Perguruan Tinggi Studi Kasus: Universitas Negeri Manado

Abstract


Penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam perusahaan/organisasi diera ini adalah hal mendesak yang diperlukan sebagai alat bantu dalam upaya memenangkan persaingan. Untuk itu sudah sepatutnya sebuah perusahaan/organisasi mengadopsi kemajuan TIK dalam perusahaannya. Salah satu kemajuan TIK dalam bidang Sistem Informasi adalah Sistem Informasi Eksekutif (SIE). SIE dapat memberikan nilai lebih bagi perusahaan/organisasi karena sistem ini bisa menyediakan fasilitas yang fleksibel untuk mengakses informasi eksternal dan internal dimana sistem dapat membantu pimpinan level eksekutif untuk mempermudah pengambilan keputusan terbaik guna kemajuan perusahaan/organisi [1]. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi eksekutif perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode FAST lanjutan yaitu Physical Design, Construction dan Testing telah dibangun sebuah produk aplikasi SIE berbasis web “SINEPTI”, berdasarkan studi kasus di lingkungan kerja Unima. Dengan harapan hasil penelitian dapat menjadi kerangka acuan untuk pengembagan SIE bagi Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia sehingga level eksekutif perguruan tinggi bisa meandapatkan informasi yang cepat dan ringkas untuk memantau target kinerja dan capaian target kinerja yang sudah diraih guna pengambilan keputusan.
